The Day

Saturday, July 17, 2027 — from golden hour to midnight. Follow the sun down the page; it sets right in the middle of our party.

6:30 PM — Arrival

Welcome to Newcastle

Doors open at 6:30. Find your seat on the terrace, grab a glass of something cold, and take in the view — Seattle's skyline does the decorating for us.

7:00 PM — The Ceremony

We Say "I Do"

Short, sweet, and full of feeling — we'll exchange vows with the Cascades behind us. We're keeping it unplugged, so cameras down and hearts up; our photographer will catch everything.

7:30 PM — Cocktail Hour

Drinks on the Lawn

Signature cocktails, passed bites, and lawn games while we sneak away for a few photos. His drink has bourbon; hers has tequila. Choose your fighter.

8:30 PM — Dinner

Dinner Is Served

Take your seats in the ballroom for a plated dinner — herb-crusted beef, cedar plank salmon, or a garden vegetarian, whichever you picked when you RSVP'd.

9:00 PM — Sunset

The Sun Sets on Seattle

Right on schedule, the sky puts on a show. Step out to the terrace with us, glass in hand, for toasts as the city lights come up. This is the moment we picked July for.

9:45 PM — First Dance

Our First Dance

One song, just the two of us — then parent dances, and then the floor belongs to everyone. This is where your song requests from the RSVP come in.

10:00 PM — Cake & Dancing

Cake, Then Chaos

We cut the cake, you eat the cake, and the dance floor opens for real. Late-night espresso bar for anyone pacing themselves until midnight.

12:00 AM — The Send-Off

One Last Song

The band plays us out at midnight, and we leave through a tunnel of sparklers under the stars. Stick around for the very end — it's going to be worth it.

A few things worth knowing

Good to Know

What to Wear

Garden formal — suits, jackets optional after the ceremony, sundresses and summer colors encouraged. The ceremony is on grass, so block heels beat stilettos on the fairway.

July Evenings Here

Expect a warm, golden evening around 75° at ceremony time, cooling into the 60s after sunset. A light layer for the late hours is a smart move — the dance floor will keep you warm either way.

Unplugged Ceremony

We're asking everyone to pocket their phones for the 20 minutes of the ceremony itself. After that, snap away all night and tag #RyanAndTaySayIDo.

Getting Home

Parking is free and cars can stay overnight — please don't drive if you've been enjoying the bar. Rideshares reach the club easily, and we'll have the pickup spot signed.
